What is Ascend Now’s Podcasting Program?

Our podcasting program is a great way for students to explore their interests by interviewing experts in that field and publishing these interactions to build an online brand.

Program Details

  1. Podcast Creation Program

    Age 11-18

    32 Hours

    This entire experience allows students to dive deeper into topics they are interested in by engaging in conversations with various experts in that field. They’ll also learn technical skills and publish and market their podcast. 

    Focus on Key Soft Skills
    Students learn how to research topics, network and reach out to people, hold conversations and communicate with clarity and confidence. They learn the art of questioning and deepen their curiosity.

    Learn Hard Skills
    Students learn how to record and edit a podcast (audio engineering), create their intro/outro, create marketing collateral as well as explore social media marketing.

    Create and showcase portfolio
    Students will create a mini-series, upload it on popular podcast publishing platforms and market their podcast. This will help them create an online voice and build awareness around their topic of interest.
