Many colleges will require you to submit a certain number of letters of recommendation to support your application.

Counselor Recommendation: A narrative of your academic, extracurricular, and social-emotional experience in school.

Teacher Recommendation: 1-2 letters that speak to you in an academic setting, work ethic, time management and more.

Outside Recommendations: a coach, boss, supervisor, etc. They have to know you well and should’ve worked with you.
