Ascend Now Bullpen Competition
Student Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition
The Bullpen is a shark-tank like competition where students pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges who are investors, entrepreneurs and professors from universities like Yale, Babson and Georgetown! We have both online and in-person competitions in Singapore.
Winners get seed funding of varying amounts up to 2,000 USD. They also get mentoring and support to make their idea a reality!

The Lens Journal
Student Research Publication
The Lens is an open access academic journal dedicated to providing a platform for young researchers to share their work and ideas.
We have a direct partnership with The Lens, so Ascend Now students get an opportunity to have their research papers reviewed on priority and stand a chance to get published!

Welcome to The Playground, where anything goes. We’re Ascend Now, an EdTech startup helping students ages 8-18 pursue their passions and reach their full potential. In each episode, our bright young students showcase their remarkable articulation abilities through talks.
Our talented learners can interview their heroes, share their experiences or present their ideas in a talk format akin to TED presentations. Join us to be a part of this riveting dialogue where passion meets potential and dreams turn into reality.

Public Speaking Event
We believe our students are active stakeholders in the learning process and that their opinion is valuable. So, we give them a stage to share it. We regularly host student panels in Singapore where we explore different topics around education, mental health and the parent-child dynamic.
All our students stand a chance to get an invite to be a speaker. Think of this as a mini TED talk in a group format. All events are photographed and video taped and shared on our various channels.
Student Voices Magazine
Student-led Publication
Student Voices is a magazine by Ascend Now students for students around the globe. It is a platform for students to show off their writing skills to the whole world on topics that make a difference to them!
The Student Voices team has a ton of positions from editor, graphic designer, writer and more.
This online publication is a great way for young students to try different styles of writing and get feedback while working towards a chance to get published. They also learn leadership and accountability.

Our Voice is Ascend Now’s official author account on Medium. We have professional editors and English educators who work with students to get their writing published on Medium, a globally recognized brand in publications.
Catalyst Internship
Internship Opportunities For Ascend Now Students
Ascend Now has an expansive network of various companies, startups and non-profits. We work with students to help them secure an internship in their field of choice through the catalyst internship arm of Ascend Now.
Catalyst is open only to students pursuing college counselling with us. We use informal channels to secure an internship opportunity or a work-shadow opportunity where our students get real-world work experience, a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation.
